For the past few months my time has been filled with producing paintings for a friend. These paintings are for poems written by her father and were a huge challenge due to the diversity of subjects. They were also great fun.
Having finished what turned out to be a 16 painting commission, all watercolors, I decided to try my hand at something a little different.
This time using acrylic paint, with some Pebeo Moon and Fantasy paint. I simply decided to go with the flow with these paintings. I ended up coming up with two paintings that i am rather delighted with.
The first I have called Silver Lining.

The second painting is even more minimalist, as encouraged by my muse, titled Divided.

Whilst waiting for the acrylic paint to dry I was able to prepare, start and finish another watercolor. It is of a sunset in Kefalonia, Greece.
